12-13 in class assignment

Evergreen trees and shrubs presentation You are making a presentation to the class using the keynote application. You can use the deciduous shrub or small ornamental tree presentations on the blog as an example of what the format should look like. There will be 10 slides of Specific plants. Five will be evergreen trees and five will be evergreen shrubs. Due to a lack of books you will work with a partner. You Need to give the Genus species and a specific variety for each plant, as well as, its common name. This will make up half of the points. The other half of the points is to check off a series of characteristics that your plants must have. To get all the points you have to meet all the requirements. Since plants have many characteristics, one plant may have more than two characteristics such as a grey top-grafted plant less than 4” tall. There must be a picture of that specific variety on the slide. Make sure to include: Color of foliage If there are cones or other structures Form or shape Tree 26’-40’: Tree 26’-40’: Tree <12’: Tree 12-15’: Tree 16-25’: Shrub 4-6’: Shrub <4’: Shrub 6-8’: Shrub 12’+: Shrub 8-12’: blue: Red/bronze: dwarf: round: conical pyramidal: Can be pruned to a rectangle: large leaves and berries: yellow: silver: Top grafted: gold: weeping: grey: Ground cover
